Nike Introduces The Chinese new Year Collection

With Chinese new Year just around the corner, Nike has introduced the ‘Chinese new Year’ collection to celebrate the Year of the Pig. building upon a slew of Nike, Jordan Brand, and Converse silhouettes, the Swoosh has wanted to a Chinese patchwork technique called “Bai Jia Yi”; for inspiration.

Utilising the technique in two different ways, the first uses a geometric quilt pattern that is heavily influenced by all twelve Chinese Zodiac symbols, and the second uses a mosaic pattern of the twelve symbols. Comprising of the Air Jordan 12, Air force 1, Air Max 1, Air Max 98, Air VaporMax 2019, blazer Low, Converse Chuck Taylor, Kyrie 5, and the Zoom Pegasus Turbo, the Nike Chinese new Year collection will release throughout January, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled at The Sole provider for drop dates and even more release info!
